5/15/24 – This is a nice example of an Italian M33 helmet from WW2. The helmet exteriors finish has mostly chipped away leaving the helmet 50/50 finished vs bare metal. The finish is black in color and the areas of bare metal has some surface patina/light oxidation. The interior of the helmet is fairly clean with a green finish, original leather liner and strap with honest signs of aging and mild surface wear throughout the leather liner. The helmet is stamped on the rear of the interior with “p71.” All the leather is pretty stiff. There is one hole in the liner on the back.
