9/23/21 – This is a very nice example of a Russian SVT-40 that was made in 1940 at the Izhevsk factory.It’s a postwar refurbished example with etched serial numbers on some parts, leaving all parts matching.Finish presumably was restored when the rifle was refurbished but the finish present is in excellent condition.Small import mark on right side of receiver.Stock is in excellent condition with no major defects.Rifle includes sling and cleaning rod.Bore is somewhat shiny with strong rifling, but does have some frost in the grooves.
