6/16/24 – This is an original WW2 M1 Carbine Magazine. The magazine is stamped “G-Q” on the spine, which corresponds to Quality Hardware & Machine Co. Magazines. Further research finds that G-Q is for one of Quality Hardware’s subcontractors, Groetchen Tool Company. The magazine has light finish loss and patina throughout. There’s a small dent near the base of the spine, but overall the magazine is in good, functional condition.
