Description
2/6/25 – This is a fairly scarce M1905 bayonet for the 1903 Springfield rifle. Made in 1906 and in great condition with a period correct R.I.A. stamped leather scabbard. The blade is in great overall condition with no signs of sharpening and only minor finish loss from scabbard wear. Great wooden handles. The scabbard is in great condition but does have cracks and abrasion wear throughout. The scabbard is maker stamped “R.I.A. 1907” with an “E.E.B.” inspector stamp.
