Description
7/21/23 – This is an original WW1 production Springfield Armory Bolo Knife with an original leather scabbard made by Rock Island Arsenal. The blade is in near-excellent condition with some mild surface scratching and light discoloration in a few areas, but no major issues and a clean unsharpened edge. The blade is well marked with a maker stamp, ordnance stamp, and 1913 manufacture date. The hand guard has mild surface patina throughout. Original wood grips are in great condition with no cracks or chips. The scabbard has an original lanyard attached and intact lanyard ring. The leather is maker stamped and 1911 date stamped as well. Some light surface wear throughout but no issues in the leather or stitching.
