6/5/24 – This is a grouping of MG 34 / MG 42 Drum magazines with an original carrier and two metal stripper clips of 7.92x57mm ammunition. The ammunition has various head stamps and is mostly post-war European ammo from what we can tell. There are two drum magazines included: One is dark grey/green painted with a maker stamp, date, and waffen military proof stamp on the lid (Hasag, 1939). Unfortunately the metal closure / secure clasp is broken so the lid does not lock down into place. Great overall condition otherwise. The other drum magazine has a tan desert painted finish with a “ddf” maker code on the lid. Normal use and edge wear / paint chipping but no major issues. Functional closure / locking mechanism. The carrying case has dark olive grey/green finish with normal age and edge wear. Functional closure arm at the top. The side of the case is stamped “wa 43” on the exterior.
