Description
1/16/25 – This is a minty example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. All correct – “United States Property” marked, GHD inspection initials, a cross-canon cartouche, and it has a correct Colt barrel with a small “F” under the lug. The slide is numbered and matching. The gun has retained nearly all of its original parkerized finish with just hints of high edge wear and some very light freckling here and there. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips – a few small blemishes on the left side. Comes with a correct “R” marked magazine. Excellent bore with great rifling.
