Description
12/26/23 – This is a rare, all original K98 bayonet with a matching numbered scabbard and a canvas frog. The bayonet blade has excellent finish with some light scabbard rub wear and mild finish loss with no rust or pitting, and an unsharpened blade. The base of the blade is serial numbered on one side, maker stamped with an “i” on the other side, and “41” dated on the spine. The scabbard has similar, matching markings. No dents or major flaws on the scabbard, with some mild surface wear. The canvas frog is unmarked and minty condition. These frogs are often associated with DAK troops.
