3/30/23 – This is an original, late WW2 production canvas sling for a MP44 or STG44 assault rifle. The sling is ink stamped on one end with a very faint waffen proof, maker stamp and date. The maker stamp looks like “cxb” and the date is either “43” or “45”. The other side of the sling has a darker, larger circular shaped ink stamp, as shown. Great condition and completely intact. Measures about 41 inches long.
