8/5/25 – For sale is an M1 Carbine made by National Post Meter in 1943. The rifle has an aged/patina finish throughout with a hint of browning. The stock has plenty of handling marks. There’s a grind mark with 2 pegs on the upper wrist area behind the tang, and there’s a hairline crack about .5″ in length. The bore is bright with good rifling. The barrel is dated Underwood 8-43. There is half of an import mark on the bottom of the barrel. The rifle comes with a 5 round magazine, and two 30 round commercial magazines.
