8/28/24 – This is an excellent example of a National Post Meter M1 Carbine issued to the US military in 1943-44. A complete parts list with markings is included in the photos. The finish on the metal parts rates about 98% with very little sign of wear or use. The wood furniture is excellent with just minor scratches and bruises here and there. There is a faint “NPM” cartouche on the right side of the butt stock. The bore is shiny with strong rifling, but there are some pits around the muzzle end. Comes with a canvas sling, oiler, and one magazine.
