06/26/2024 – For sale is a Polish WZ.29 Mauser sent to Spain as an aid during the Spanish Civil War. The rifle shows typical signs of Spanish use like the sanded stock and the scrubbed receiver other than a Circle Z. The rifle has matching serial numbers on the receiver, bolt, and trigger guard. The metal has a deep bluing on the receiver, barrel, stock, and bolt. The barrel bands have freckling of oxidation. The stock is free of cracks but the upper handguard has a crack behind the rear sight. The bore is bright with good visible rifling but the lands have frosted over. The rear sight sling mount, barrel band leaf spring, and rear barrel band screw are missing but easily found online.
