08/06/2024 – For sale is a nice M1 Garand made by the Springfield Arsenal in May of 1942 and sold through the CMP. The rifle retains a nice parkerized finish throughout with minor edge wear. The wood is in excellent condition with minor pressure marks and handling wear. The handguard has a rack number painted on the right side. The barrel had been replaced and one made by Springfield in 1944. The bore is very bright with great rifling. The muzzle erosion reads a 2 and throat erosion is a 1.The rifle comes with a CMP case, one en bloc clip, and CMP certificate.
