8/8/25 – Here we have a Swiss military entrenching tool from the WW2 era. The leather sheath is in good condition with only light wear and has sharp Swiss stampings still clearly visible. The shovel head fits into the sheath quite nicely, though the leather is a bit stiff. The straps on the sheath are more pliable and show some fraying. The head of the shovel shows normal amounts of wear from use and age but still has clear markings. The blade of the head of the shovel is surprisingly pretty sharp. The wooden handle is in good shape showing normal amounts of wear for the shovel’s age.
