8/4/23 – This is an excellent example of a Czech BRNO M98/29 rifle that was part of the Iranian contract order in the 1930’s. This one is all matching (including the stock) and comes with an original cleaning rod. It has the proper Persian insignia on the receiver. No import marks. The metal parts have retained about 94-95% of their original bluing. There is minor muzzle wear, an area of light scratchy wear on the barrel, and a series of small dings on the floor plate / trigger group. Spotting oxidation on the butt plate. No major damage to the wood, but there are obvious dings and scratches throughout. Mint bore.
