Description
5/6/24 -This is a rare and desirable Colt Cavalry Single Action Army revolver from 1875.It is all matching and original with proper 7.5in barrel. It is “J” martial inspector marks on the underside of the frame just above the trigger guard, on the cylinder, and just under the hammer. “C” and “P” military markings on the barrel. “US” Property marking on the frame. The gun is entirely matching but has lost nearly all of its finish. There is brown “attic patina” throughout and pin-pricking on the cylinder and frame. Excellent wood grips with a faint military cartouche on the left side. The bore has decent rifling, but there is pitting and oxidation in the grooves. Fully functional.
