4/22/21 – This is a super rare and early Nazi FN Browning High Power with tangent sight and slotted frame.It is perhaps the most desirable and requested Nazi variation High Power.It is hard to estimate exact production totals for this variation as they were completed from a mixture of available parts without serial number continuity, but the total ranges span only about 3,000 digits.This example falls into the ‘sub-variant 2’ category without pre-invasion Liege proofs on the slide and frame.It has all matching serials with no Liege proofs on the barrel.The slot in frame is factory original and the grips have the prewar red paint on the back.The finish is terrific, one of the nicest examples of this variation that we’ve encountered.It has very little actual wear/bluing loss, with the largest patch of wear/freckling on the back strap.There are also some other areas of minor oxidation.Strong, shiny bore.Magazine is WaA613 proofed, too.
