1/2/25 – This is an excellent example of a rare Walther Mod P.38 sold in the commercial market during WW2. This one is all matching and has the proper “Eagle N” proofs. This gun is rare as only 1,800 were produced. It has retained about 95% of its original finish, and the bluing has a nice slight plum color to it. There is just minor high edge wear, muzzle wear, very minor thinning on the front strap, and some very light freckling here and there on the slide. Fitted with excellent reddish bakelite grips. Comes with a period-correct P.38 magazine that is not military marked. Minty bore. De-cocker is functional.
