3/6/25 – This is the rarest of all the Army-issued Mauser HSc’s. In 1941, Mauser ceased production of the model 1934 in favor of the HSc, and some of the first several thousand procured bear the same proofs as the model 1934 – Eagle/655 on trigger guard and the Army test proof on the grip tang. There were only 3,000 of this variation produced, with said markings and high-polish blue finish. This one is all matching and has retained about 90% of its finish. General high edge and muzzle wear, dulling on the grip straps, and a couple of areas of minor thinning on both sides of the slide. Fitted with period-correct wood grips. Excellent, shiny bore. It comes as a rig with a period-correct leather holster and two proper magazines.
