12/2/21 – This is a rare Nazi Mauser P.38 with ‘svw 45’ slide code, indicating it was made at the French Mauser factory but issued and accepted into the German military.There were only ~7,800 of this variation produced with dual-tone finish.This one is in terrific condition with only minor high edge thinning, and it has a mint bore.The slide shows standard discoloration as the finish on these could be “splotchy”.All matching and original throughout.Excellent black plastic grips, with only a few surface scratches on the right panel.Rare, late-war phosphate magazine with ‘U’ on body and ribbed follower.
