Description
7/5/23 – This is a very nice example of a rare third-variation “Zero Series” Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. The grips are waffen-proofed but not numbered. Comes with one original matching-numbered magazine. The gun itself has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original high polish finish. Generally, there is muzzle wear and light, somewhat spotty wear on the front strap and on the slide, concentrated mostly around the high edges. Some finish loss on the top plate as well. Excellent, shiny bore with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
