Description
10/2/23 – This is a nice example of a Remington Rolling Block chambered in 7mm Mauser around the turn of the century. Rolling Blocks were bought by companies that couldn’t quite afford the more advanced bolt action rifles. The metal finish on the rifle is mostly worn but parts like the hammer, barrel, and locking block maintain a nice bluing. The receiver has a feint case hardening color under the patina. The bore is mostly dark but has sharp rifling. The top of the barrel is stamped “7mm” and the tang of the receiver is marked with Remington information.
