Description
06/24/26 – For sale is a Rock Island 1903 chambered in .30-06 and made in 1913. The metal on the rifle is well-worn with most of the finish worn and bare metal showing through. The stock is a Springfield-made replacement and is in great shape. The left side of the wrist is stamped with an Eagle as well as in front of the magazine. The bore is fairly bright with good rifling, but the rifling at the muzzle thins out. The grooves are darkening, and there’s shallow micropitting visible when shining a light. The muzzle erosion rating is 8. Barrel is marked RIA 4-13.
