Description
3/3/23 – This is an original WW2 German SA Dagger. The dagger comes with an original scabbard that’s inscribed with a dedication dated 1942. There’s also a leather hanger attached, as shown. The dagger blade is maker stamped by Solinger Axt und Hauerfabrik and has nice, visible cross-graining despite some surface patina and spotty discoloration throughout both sides of the blade. There’s also scabbard rub wear, and some splotchy discoloration on the maker-marked side of the blade. The crossguard is nickel and Gruppe stamped “Nrh”. The wood handle has no cracks or chips. The scabbard is in great condition and the hanger is RZM stamped.
