3/3/25 – For sale is a scarce variation of the Walther P.38 made in the M block in 1943. These P.38 are unique as the maker mark was stamped in the same line as opposed to the AC being over the year. These are seen in the “m” block and “n” block. The pistol has a nice blued finish but most notable wear is on the slide and barrel. The slide has high edge wear with some pitting on the front of the slide. The barrel has scratches to the finish and wear at the muzzle. The frame has a plum-like finish but the front of the grip has worn down to bare metal. The grips are in good condition with no cracks or breaks, but visible wear. The pistol has matching numbers on the frame, slide, barrel, and locking lug. The bore is bright with strong rifling but there is pitting visible within the last inch of grooves towards the muzzle. Comes with one “jvd” marked magazine.
