7/15/24 – This is an original, excellent condition Luger cleaning rod guide / muzzle protector. Also used for the 4mm conversion barrel. In the Weimar era and early WW2, these cleaning rod guides were issued with Lugers (mostly police Lugers). These are often seen with police lugers and were made with the intention of protecting the muzzle from being damaged by the cleaning rod. This piece is serial number stamped, and has small imperial stamp. No rust or pitting, wonderful condition and original.
