Description
5/29/26 – This is a nice example of a Smith & Wesson Model 10-6 revolver from 1972-73. Chambered in .38 Special with a 4 inch bull barrel. The left side of the frame is marked “NYS DCS 586”, indicating this gun was issued to a guard with the New York State Department of Civil Services. It comes as a rig with a black leather holster, leather ammo pouches, and two speed loaders. The gun has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original high polish bluing. There is general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and light scratchy wear on much of the gun – most noticeable on the grip straps and underside of the trigger guard. Fitted replaced wood grips. Excellent, shiny bore.
