3/23/23 – This is a nice example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in July of 1943. All matching with the proper “Eagle 88” proofs. It has retained roughly 80% of its finish with obvious thinning and brown patina along the barrel and on the front strap. Some scratches on the left side of the slide and small casting flaws on the right side. Excellent period-correct reddish particle grips. Comes with a Spreewerk magazine. Excellent, shiny bore with strong rifling and tiny spots of pin-pricking here and there. De-cocker is functional. Hold-open does not work with this magazine.
