12/18/24 – This is a great example of a WW1 era P1914 Swiss rifle bayonet. The bayonet is in great condition with a 11.75 inch blade that’s maker stamped at the base. The blade is shiny with light handling and age wear. Minimal discoloration and a lightly sharpened edge. The hand guard is Swiss proof stamped and numbered, “383110”. Nice wood handles are in excellent condition. Comes with an original scabbard that’s proof stamped on the toe/ball. Light finish loss, and a few minor dents. Fits the blade nicely and has an original leather tab hanger.
