Description
11/3/21 – This is a very nice and original Type 14 Nambu that was made in July of 1939 at the Kokubunji arsenal. It is all matching numbers, including the original magazine. The blue rates at maybe 97% with minor high edge wear and a little thinning on the trigger guard. There is very little bluing loss overall, but there is some notable patina and oxidation on grip frame. This is also a somewhat scarce example in that it’s one of the last ones made with the small trigger guard because in September of 1939, the Type 14 was modified to have a larger trigger guard so that a gloved finger could easily fit inside.Excellent, unmarked grips.Minty bore.
