8/12/24 – This is an original WW1 era US M1907 Leather Rifle Sling. The sling is all original with matching pieces of leather on both portions of the sling. The leather is dark brown and aged throughout with some surface wrinkling and scuffing. None of the wear is deep into the leather however, and overall we rate this as great condition (with honest age wear). No visible markings or stamps, but the brass hardware and aged leather both indicate WW1 era production. The leather retaining loops are original and intact, but they have both been reinforced with a staple at the seam. Priced to sell!
