Description
6/20/24 – This is a nice example of a US Army Colt Model 1894 Revolver, manufactured in 1898 and chambered in .38 Caliber. It is all matching and has the proper “RAC” military inspector markings throughout. Its original high polish bluing rates roughly 85%. There is general high edge wear, wear along the barrel, wear on the grip straps, and obvious spotty discoloration on both sides of the frame. Nice fire blue on the small parts. The wood grips both have visible military inspector cartouches. The left is also dated 1898 – tiny chip in the bottom corner. Excellent bore. Fully functional. No FFL required.
