4/30/24 – This is a very nice example of a Colt Model 1909 revolver issued to the US Army in 1911. It is “United States Property” marked under the barrel and has “R.A.C.” inspector initials on the frame and bottom of the grips. It has retained about 92% of its original high polish bluing. In general, there is muzzle and high edge wear. Spotty wear on the back strap. Tiny scratches here and there. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth. Excellent bore – shiny with strong rifling.
