Description
5/17/26 – This is a Sharps Model 1863 Rifle from the Civil War. Overall, the gun is in nice condition for its age with a nice aged bluing on the barrel. The receiver has patches of old patina and oxidation. The wood is nice with minor handling marks but there is a 2.5″ crack on the right side and a hairline 1.25″ crack on the left. The bore is fairly bright for its age but has visible pitting throughout.
