06/05/2024 – This is a nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It’s a scarce variation with ‘ac 43’ marking in a single line on the slide, only found in the ‘n’ and ‘m’ serial blocks, one of about 18,000 made. All matching with the proper “Eagle 359” military proofs. The handgun retains majority of its original finish with some minor edge wear on the slide and frame. The front sight base also has some wear. The bore is very bright with good rifling.
