Description
7/11/25 – Savage made, No4 Mk1* rifle issued in 1942 as aid to England during WW2. The finish has greyed with age and there has a very pleasing patina. There is no corrosion “US Property” is stamped on the receiver. The stock is in good condition without any breaks. The serial number is stamped on the rear band as well as an S for Savage, the date and a faint flaming bomb. The rifle and bolt do not match. The bore is bright with strong rifling. There is an import mark on the left side of the receiver. Smooth operation and fully functional. Includes a correct canvas sling.
