Description
5/31/26 – This is a Walther P.38 manufactured in November of 1959. All matching with an import mark on the left side of the frame. There is a crossed-out “BMI” marking on the right side of the trigger guard, which illustrates that this firearm was police issued prior to being released to the public market. The finish rates about 80% with high edge wear, muzzle wear, and general thinning of the finish over the entire slide. The black painted frame shows light high edge wear. Fitted with black plastic grips – tiny scratches and handling marks on both sides. Bore is bright with strong rifling but there is frosting throughout. De-cocker is functional.
