Description
1/10/23 – This is a Winchester Model 1885 “High Wall” Lever Action Rifle, chambered in .22 LR. Its finish rates roughly 75% with most of the wear being on the receiver, where there is also some very light brown patina and light scratches. There is a series of small dings on the left side of the receiver. Some discoloration on the barrel band. The wood furniture is very nice overall, but there is a crack around the wrist of the stock. The bore is shiny with great rifling, but there is some minor pitting here and there.
