8/20/24 – This is an original WW2 US M1 Carbine Rifle Carry / Transport Case. The case is made from thick olive green canvas material and is ink stamped “US” on the exterior. One of the leather tabs on the end of the zipper opening is missing, as shown in photos. The other tab is excellent. Nonmagnetic zipper assembly which is marked “CROWN / USA” on either side. No interior ink stamp for maker or date, but the style and natural age indicates WW2 production. Original canvas weave carry strap attached and in excellent condition.
