5/28/24 – This is an excellent condition late WW2 production P.38 magazine by jvd. JVD was a subcontractor for P.38 magazines during WW2. This example is stamped on the left side of the tube “jvd” with “P.38 U” on the other side. The “U” signifies unhardened metal, a late war production feature desired by collectors today. The finish is correct dark wartime style, with some light surface scuffs and light oil stains / handling marks. No rust or pitting and a fully functional spring.
