1/14/25 – This is a good example of a WW1 French Syria-Cilicia Medal. These medals were instituted in 1922 and were issued to French military members in the interwar period who were fighting against rebels in the Levant region. The Levant campaign began in 1920 and ended in 1921.The medal itself is in good overall condition with a nice patina as well as still maintaining a good amount of detail in the medals motifs. The medal comes with its hanger as well as its “Levant” clasp.
